New Jersey High School Basketball - Wallkill Valley overwhelms Newton
February 6, 2024: Hamburg, NJ 07419 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Wallkill Valley Rangers (Hamburg, NJ) and the visiting Newton Braves (Newton, NJ), saw Wallkill Valley's basketball squad wallop Newton by a tally of 69-41.
With the victory, Wallkill Valley improves its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Rangers host High Point (Sussex, NJ) to confront the Wildcats in a Northwest Jersey - Freedom challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. High Point won 71-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Kittatinny Regional (Newton, NJ)
Next up, the Braves confront the Dover Tigers (Dover, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Newton will attempt to improve on its 3-18 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 86-63 non-league loss to Montville (Montville, NJ).
