The East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC), 43-30 in Tuesday's league test.

The Warriors (2-14) will now prepare for their test against Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Golden Lions go into the 1A/2A Southern Piedmont test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Shelby notched a victory over Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC), 38-27, in a non-league test.
