North Carolina High School Basketball - Asheboro crushes Ledford
February 6, 2024: Thomasville, NC 27360 Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC), 58-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Asheboro upgrades its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Blue Comets host Montgomery Central (Troy, NC) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Timberwolves come into the bout with a record of 4-11. Montgomery Central lost 65-30 in their recent non-league bout against Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC)
Next up, the Panthers play the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a bout, on Thursday, February 8. Ledford will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Black Knights come into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 67-36 non-league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC).
