North Carolina High School Basketball - Montgomery Central ripped by Ledford
January 30, 2024: Thomasville, NC 27360 The Ledford Panthers basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Montgomery Central Timberwolves to 38 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Grove for a contest on Friday, February 2. Ledford will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 58-13 league win over North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Grizzlies record now stands at 11-5.
The Timberwolves (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Spartans enter the contest with a 17-0 record. In their last contest, Central Davidson triumphed over Asheboro (Asheboro, NC), 72-27, in a non-league contest.
