February 6, 2024: Troy, NC 27371 The Montgomery Central Timberwolves basketball team (Troy, NC), was overwhelmed 65-30 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC)
The Grizzlies now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Davidson for a battle on Friday, February 9. Oak Grove will confront a Spartans team coming off a 67-36 non-league win over North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 19-0.
The Timberwolves (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Blue Comets come into the non-league battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Asheboro trounced Ledford (Thomasville, NC), 58-37, in a non-league battle.
