North Carolina High School Basketball - South Johnston crushes Smithfield-Selma
February 6, 2025: Four Oaks, NC 27524 The South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC), 65-42 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hunt for a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. South Johnston will play a Warriors team coming off a 58-44 league win over West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 18-0.
With the loss, Smithfield-Selma falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. The Saints come into the outing with a record of 2-13. Southern Wayne lost 67-44 in their recent non-league outing against East Wake (Wendell, NC)
