Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA), 56-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Edna Karr upgrades its record to 11-15 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA) to play the Patriots in a 5A District 9 bout on Friday, February 10. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 14-9.
