The Central Valley Academy Thunder basketball squad (Ilion, NY), was nudged 63-58 in Friday's league battle with the host Camden Blue Devils (Camden, NY)

With the victory, Camden advances its record to 6-9 on the year. The Blue Devils host Sandy Creek (Sandy Creek, NY) to meet the Comets in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8. The Comets enter the battle with a record of 8-5.

The Thunder now own a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rome Free Academy for a Section 3 Tri-Valley - Colonial battle on Tuesday, February 11.
