Texas High School Basketball - La Feria fells Port Isabel
February 7, 2025: Port Isabel, TX 78578 The La Feria Lions basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Port Isabel Tarpons to 43 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now have a 22-7 record. They play next when they host Grulla for a 4A Region IV District 32 game on Monday, February 10. La Feria will confront a Gators team coming off a 65-54 league loss to Jubilee Brownsville (Brownsville, TX). The Gators record now stands at 3-24.
With the loss, Port Isabel falls to 15-13 on the campaign. The Tarpons host Valley View (Pharr, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 4A Region IV District 32 game on Monday, February 10. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 6-18. Valley View lost 56-43 in their recent league game against Hidalgo (Hidalgo, TX)
