In Friday's non-league contest, the host Sacred Heart Irish basketball team scored a close 46-42 win over the Lourdes Central Catholic Knights.

The Irish (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop LeBlond (St. Joseph, MO). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 24-2 record. In their last contest, Bishop LeBlond edged Savannah (Savannah, MO), 59-41, in a league contest.
