Arizona High School Basketball - Ironwood Ridge succumbs to Mica Mountain

In Friday's league test, the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) basketball squad defeated the host Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ), by a final score of 55-41.

Next, the Thunderbolts clash with the Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ) in a 4A Kino test, on Tuesday, February 11. Mica Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 19-7 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 20-8 record after their 67-28 league loss to Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ).

The Nighthawks (10-15) will now prepare for their test against Rincon/University (Tucson, AZ). The Rangers come into the non-league test with a 18-8 record. In their last test, Rincon/University went down by Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ), 56-45, in a league test.
