February 8, 2024: Eyota, MN 55934 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Dover-Eyota Eagles (Eyota, MN) and the visiting Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN), saw Dover-Eyota's basketball squad hold off Lewiston-Altura by a tally of 65-62.
With the victory, Dover-Eyota improves its record to 8-14 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to St. Charles (St. Charles, MN) to play the Fighting Saints in a AA Section 1 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Fighting Saints come into the challenge with a record of 11-12. St. Charles won 87-85 in their recent non-league challenge against Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Cannon Falls Bombers (Cannon Falls, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. Lewiston-Altura will attempt to improve on its 16-10 season record. The Bombers come into the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 95-55 non-league win over Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN).
