February 8, 2024: Hatch, NM 87937 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) and the host Hatch Valley Bears (Hatch, NM), saw Hot Springs's basketball squad wallop Hatch Valley by a tally of 82-56.
With the victory, Hot Springs improves its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Socorro (Socorro, NM) to confront the Warriors in a 3A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 7-11. Socorro won 66-58 in their recent league challenge against Cobre (Bayard, NM)
Next up, the Bears confront the Cobre Indians (Bayard, NM) in a 3A District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Hatch Valley will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 5-17 record after their 66-58 league loss to Socorro (Socorro, NM).
