The Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) basketball nipped the visiting Clear Spring Blazers (Clear Spring, MD), 59-55 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Miners (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Broadfording Christian Academy (Hagerstown, MD). The go into the non-league test with a 1-14 record. In their last test, Broadfording Christian Academy was tipped by Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV), 86-38, in a non-league test.
