In Thursday's league outing, the Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD) basketball squad edged the host Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders (Greenbelt, MD), by a count of 57-50.

The Pumas (16-3) will now prepare for their outing against Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD). The Wildcats go into the Prince George's County 4A outing with a 5-15 record. In their last outing, Northwestern held off High Point (Beltsville, MD), 51-9, in a league outing.
