The Northwestern Wildcats basketball team (Hyattsville, MD), was routed 64-14 in Thursday's league battle with the host Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD)

The Pumas now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to High Point for a Prince George's County 4A battle on Tuesday, January 17. Wise will battle a Eagles team coming off a 36-26 league loss to Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 0-7.

The Wildcats (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Bowie (Bowie, MD). The Bulldogs come into the Prince George's County 4A battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Bowie trounced Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD), 45-41, in a league battle.
