February 14, 2023: Hyattsville, MD 20782 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD) and the host Northwestern Wildcats (Hyattsville, MD), saw Wise's basketball squad wallop Northwestern by a tally of 45-12.
With the victory, Wise improves its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Pumas host High Point (Beltsville, MD) to confront the Eagles in a Prince George's County 4A challenge on Thursday, February 16. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-14. High Point lost 51-9 in their recent league challenge against Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Bowie Bulldogs (Bowie, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Northwestern will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 38-33 league loss to Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD).
