The Grassfield Grizzlies basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Hickory Hawks to 51 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Friday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nansemond River for a Southeastern contest on Tuesday, February 13. Grassfield will meet a Warriors team coming off a 65-47 league loss to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 14-7.
