March 14, 2024: Oakboro, NC 28129 The West Stanly Colts smashed the visiting Central Academy Cougars soccer squad by a margin of 5-1 in Thursday's league match.
The Colts now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Parkwood for a Rocky River 2A/3A match on Tuesday, March 19. West Stanly will encounter a Wolf Pack squad coming off a 9-1 league loss to Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Central Academy drops to 0-6 on the season. The Cougars travel to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC) to encounter the Mavericks in a non-league match on Friday, March 15.
