North Carolina High School Soccer - Central Academy knocks off Parkwood
April 11, 2024: Monroe, NC 28112 Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC), 5-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge, on Tuesday, April 16. Central Academy will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Colts enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 4-3 league win over Piedmont (Monroe, NC).
The Wolf Pack now have a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they host Forest Hills for a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Parkwood will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 9-0 league win over Monroe (Monroe, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 10-1.
