North Carolina High School Softball - Queen's Grant bounces Corvian Community

March 14, 2024: Matthews, NC 28105

Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 16-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Stallions now own a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host Concord for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Queen's Grant will battle a Spiders squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Spiders record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Corvian Community falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC) to battle the Pride in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Pride enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Pine Lake Prep won 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC)
