March 15, 2022: Winston-Salem, NC 27104 In Tuesday's league contest, the Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC), by a margin of 21-12.
With the triumph, Parkland moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Mustangs host East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC) to play the Eagles in a Central Piedmont 4A contest on Friday, March 18. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 4-1. East Forsyth won 11-1 in their recent league contest against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC)
In their next game, the Demons play the Glenn Bobcats (Kernersville, NC) in a Central Piedmont 4A contest, on Friday, March 18. R.J. Reynolds will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Bobcats come into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 5-0 league loss to West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC).
