April 8, 2022: Winston-Salem, NC 27127 In Friday's league contest, the R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), by a margin of 24-2.
With the triumph, R.J. Reynolds moves its record to 2-11 on the year. The Demons host Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to play the Bobcats in a Central Piedmont 4A contest on Tuesday, April 19. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 4-8. Glenn lost 14-0 in their recent league contest against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC)
In their next game, the Mustangs play the East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC) in a Central Piedmont 4A contest, on Tuesday, April 19. Parkland will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 11-1 record after their 11-1 league win over Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC).
