March 8, 2022: Winston-Salem, NC 27104 In Tuesday's league contest, the Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC), by a margin of 18-0.
With the triumph, Davie moves its record to 2-2 on the year. The War Eagles host South Iredell (Statesville, NC) to play the Vikings in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 9. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 3-1. South Iredell lost 12-2 in their recent league contest against West Cabarrus (Concord, NC)
In their next game, the Demons play the Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC) in a Central Piedmont 4A contest, on Friday, March 11. R.J. Reynolds will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 19-1 non-league loss to Page (Greensboro, NC).
