Arizona High School Softball - Chinle bounces Pinon
March 16, 2023: Chinle, AZ 86503 Chinle Wildcats (Chinle, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pinon Eagles (Pinon, AZ), 18-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Alchesay for a 3A North challenge on Saturday, March 18. Chinle will face a Falcons squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to Window Rock (Fort Defiance, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Pinon falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to St. Johns (St. Johns, AZ) to face the Redskins in a 2A North challenge on Wednesday, March 22. The Redskins enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. St. Johns won 14-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Kingman Academy (Kingman, AZ)
