Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 11-4 in a league match.

With the triumph, Hoggard advances its record to 4-5 on the season. The Vikings host Swansboro (Swansboro, NC) to battle the Pirates in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 19. The Pirates come into the match with a record of 2-3. Swansboro lost 4-2 in their recent non-league match against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC)

The Trojans now have a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Brunswick for a Mideastern 3A/4A match on Friday, March 21. West Brunswick will battle a Scorpions squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to West Stokes (King, NC). The Scorpions record now stands at 4-5.
