April 17, 2025: Shallotte, NC 28470 The West Brunswick Trojans baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Topsail Pirates to 3 in the Trojans league win on Thursday.
The Trojans now hold a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they host Southern Nash for a non-league test on Monday, April 21. West Brunswick will play a Firebirds team coming off a 9-2 league win over Franklinton (Franklinton, NC). The Firebirds record now stands at 11-9.
With the defeat, Topsail drops to 10-9 on the year. The Pirates host North Davidson (Lexington, NC) to confront the Black Knights in a non-league match on Monday, April 21. The Black Knights come into the match with a record of 10-10. North Davidson won 18-10 in their recent league match against Ledford (Thomasville, NC)
