March 19, 2025: Sylvania, OH 43560 The Northview Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Swanton Bulldogs to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Springfield for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 20. Northview will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Start Spartans (Toledo, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. Swanton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.

SYLVANIA - The Cats hosted the Bulldogs in the 2nd match of the year and it was the Cats coming out victorious in four sets to move to 1-1 in their second year.
Leading for Northview was junior, Nolan Smith, with 10 kills, hitting .389, while adding 7 blocks, and junior Xavi Hale with 6 kills. The Cats received significant defensive moves by senior libero, Johnny Krolak, with 17 digs, and senior setter, Dillon Ersig with 11 digs, 21 assists and 4 blocks. Junior opposite, Connor Pieja, had a team-high 4 aces.
