The Chisum Mustangs softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Commerce Tigers to 6 in the Mustangs league win on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Como-Pickton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 24. Chisum will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 25-4 league win over Cumby (Cumby, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 20-5.

The Tigers (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Buffaloes go into the 3A Region II District 12 test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Lone Oak was routed by Rains (Emory, TX), 14-4, in a league test.
