The Liberty Lions baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions to 3 in the Lions league win on Friday.

The Lions now own a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamilton for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 26. Liberty will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ). The Huskies record now stands at 10-3.

With the defeat, Mountain Ridge drops to 2-8 on the year. The Mountain lions host Libertyville (Libertyville, IL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Monday, March 24. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 2-0. Libertyville won 12-1 in their recent non-league test against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL)
