March 24, 2023: Gastonia, NC 28054 Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) and the host Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), saw Crest's baseball squad beat Ashbrook by a margin of 10-2.
Coming up next, the Chargers play the Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC) in a Big South 3A battle, on Wednesday, March 29. Crest will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Storm enter the battle with a 6-3 record after their 9-7 league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC).
The Greenwave now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Highland Tech for a non-league battle on Monday, March 27. Ashbrook will play a Rams squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC). The Rams record now stands at 6-4.
