Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC), 5-3 in a league test.

With the win, Crest upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Chargers host Bandys (Catawba, NC) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 11. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 9-5. Bandys won 7-4 in their recent league test against Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC)

With the defeat, South Point falls to 8-5 on the season. The Red raiders travel to Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a non-league test on Monday, April 10.
