The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) and the visiting Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC), saw Dixon's baseball team gain a win over Richlands by a tally of 5-0.

The Bulldogs (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Croatan (Newport, NC). The Cougars enter the Coastal 3A battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Croatan was overwhelmed by West Carteret (Morehead City, NC), 10-6, in a league battle.

Next, the Wildcats face the White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC) in a Coastal 3A battle, on Friday, March 28. Richlands will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC).
