The Independence Patriots triumphed over the host Westside Renegades baseball squad by a score of 12-2 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Patriots encounter the Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 26. Independence will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Indians enter the outing with a 2-0 record after their 14-1 non-league win over Midland Trail (Hico, WV).

With the defeat, Westside drops to 2-1 on the year. The Renegades travel to Tug Valley (Williamson, WV) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, March 27.
