Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Austin Maroons (Austin, TX), 17-2 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 17-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bowie for a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Dripping Springs will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Anderson (Austin, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-6.

With the loss, Austin falls to 7-16 on the campaign. The Maroons host Bowie (Austin, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Friday, April 5. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 18-6.
