In Friday's league bout, the Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA), by a tally of 11-2.

Next up, the Spartans encounter the Terra Nova Tigers (Pacifica, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 29. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 7-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA).

The Trojans (2-7) will now prepare for their bout against Homestead (Cupertino, CA). The Mustangs enter the De Anza bout with a 6-6 record. In their last bout, Homestead overcame Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA), 7-4, in a non-league bout.
