The Palo Alto Vikings baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Milpitas Trojans to 0 in the Vikings league win on Friday.

The Vikings now hold a 10-12 record. They take the field next when they host Hollister for a non-league test on Saturday, May 3. Palo Alto will play a Haybalers team coming off a 5-1 league win over Salinas (Salinas, CA). The Haybalers record now stands at 14-8.

With the defeat, Milpitas drops to 2-17 on the year. The Trojans host Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA) to play the Wildcats in a De Anza test on Wednesday, May 7. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 19-3. Los Gatos won 6-3 in their recent non-league test against James Logan (Union City, CA)
