The Flour Bluff Hornets triumphed over the host Carroll Tigers baseball squad by a score of 14-2 in Saturday's league outing.

Coming up next, the Hornets clash with the Gregory-Portland Wildcats (Portland, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 29 test, on Tuesday, March 31. Flour Bluff will attempt to better on its 18-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 15-8 record after their 4-0 league win over Alice (Alice, TX).

With the defeat, Carroll drops to 10-13 on the year. The Tigers host Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX) to clash with the Warriors & Cherokees in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 1. The Warriors & Cherokees go into the test with a record of 12-8. Tuloso-Midway lost 8-0 in their recent league test against Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX)
