In Saturday's non-league test, the Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Sumter Raiders (Bushnell, FL), by a tally of 7-2.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Lake Weir Hurricanes (Ocala, FL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 29. Merritt Island will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Hurricanes go into the test with a 1-12 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Westminster Christian (Miami, FL).
