Florida High School Softball - South Sumter held off by Vanguard

In Tuesday's non-league test, the Vanguard Knights (Ocala, FL) softball squad got by the visiting South Sumter Raiders (Bushnell, FL), by a tally of 6-5.

Next, the Knights meet the Mount Dora Hurricanes (Mount Dora, FL) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 26. Vanguard will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Hurricanes go into the test with a 4-6 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Belleview (Belleview, FL).

The Raiders (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Forest (Ocala, FL). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Forest was nudged by Gainesville (Gainesville, FL), 10-0, in a non-league test.
