Texas High School Softball - Stanton bounces Tornillo
March 31, 2023: Stanton, TX 79782 Stanton Buffaloes (Stanton, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Tornillo Coyotes (Tornillo, TX), 18-0 in a league challenge.
The Buffaloes now sport a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they host Crane for a 3A Region I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 4. Stanton will face a Cranes squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Alpine (Alpine, TX). The Cranes record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Tornillo falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Presidio (Presidio, TX) to face the Blue Devils in a 3A Region I District 4 challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Presidio lost 5-1 in their recent league challenge against Alpine (Alpine, TX)
