March 28, 2023: Alpine, TX 79830 The Alpine Bucks (Alpine, TX) softball routed the visiting Stanton Buffaloes (Stanton, TX), 13-3 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Bucks (12-7) will now prepare for their bout against Kermit (Kermit, TX). The Yellow Jackets go into the 3A Region I District 4 bout with a 0-3 record.
The Buffaloes now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Tornillo for a 3A Region I District 4 bout on Friday, March 31. Stanton will confront a Coyotes squad coming off a 23-1 league loss to Alpine (Alpine, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 0-6.
