Briggs Bruins (Columbus, OH) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Independence 76ers (Columbus, OH), 19-1 in a league match.

With the triumph, Briggs advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bruins host Shekinah Christian (Plain City, OH) to battle the Flames in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 1. The Flames come into the match with a record of 1-0. Shekinah Christian won 14-0 in their recent league match against Liberty Christian Academy (Pataskala, OH)

The 76ers now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Africentric Early College for a Columbus City - South match on Wednesday, April 2.
