March 4, 2022: Indian Trail, NC 28079

The Porter Ridge Pirates triumphed over the visiting Independence Patriots lacrosse team by a score of 19-9 in Friday's non-league match.

With the win, Porter Ridge upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pirates host Butler (Matthews, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Monday, March 7. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 0-2. Butler lost 21-1 in their recent league match against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC)

With the defeat, Independence drops to 0-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to Providence (Charlotte, NC) to play the Panthers in a Southwestern/So Meck match on Thursday, March 10. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 0-3. Providence lost 9-4 in their recent non-league match against Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC)
