The Coronado Thunderbirds softball squad (El Paso, TX), was routed 17-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX)

With the triumph, Americas improves its record to 10-11 on the year. The Trail Blazers host Socorro (El Paso, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Friday, March 7. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 17-0. Socorro won 11-0 in their recent non-league contest against Burges (El Paso, TX)

The Thunderbirds now hold a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon for a non-league contest on Friday, March 7. Coronado will face a Scorpions squad coming off a 20-17 non-league loss to Jefferson (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 6-9.
