Montwood Rams (El Paso, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX), 14-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Montwood improves its record to 20-6 on the year. The Rams host Eastwood (El Paso, TX) to face the Troopers in a 6A Region I District 1 game on Saturday, March 29. The Troopers enter the game with a record of 23-2. Eastwood won 12-5 in their recent league game against Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX)

The Thunderbirds now hold a 9-16 record. They play next when they travel to Eastwood for a 6A Region I District 1 game on Friday, March 28. Coronado will face a Troopers squad coming off a 12-5 league win over Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX). The Troopers record now stands at 23-2.
