The Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC), 14-0 in Friday's league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Rowan for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 8. Northwest Guilford will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Western Guilford drops to 2-4 on the year. The Hornets travel to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC) to clash with the Cowboys in a Metro 4A challenge on Tuesday, March 11.
