The Ragsdale Tigers baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Northwest Guilford Vikings to 2 in the Tigers league win on Friday.

The Tigers now hold a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southwest Guilford for a Metro 4A test on Tuesday, April 8. Ragsdale will play a Cowboys team coming off a 3-2 league win over Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Cowboys record now stands at 13-3.

With the defeat, Northwest Guilford drops to 6-8 on the year. The Vikings travel to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. The Grizzlies go into the test with a record of 8-6. Oak Grove won 8-0 in their recent league test against Ledford (Thomasville, NC)
