The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ) and the host Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), saw Valley Christian's baseball team gain a win over Apache Junction by a tally of 11-1.

The Trojans (17-2) will now prepare for their battle against Snowflake (Snowflake, AZ). The Lobos enter the non-league battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Snowflake prevailed over Winslow (Winslow, AZ), 16-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Prospectors face the Seton Catholic Sentinels (Chandler, AZ) in a 3A Central battle, on Friday, April 11. Apache Junction will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Sentinels enter the battle with a 15-7 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Odyssey Institute (Buckeye, AZ).
