In Friday's league challenge, the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) baseball squad triumphed over the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC), by a margin of 12-1.

With the win, Central Davidson betters its record to 9-7 on the season. The Spartans travel to South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13.
